After successfully completing the trainee programs during the trainee period, they can be appointed as permanent civil servants at the end of the 2-year trainee period.

After childbirth, the right to unpaid leave can be used by the female employee for up to twenty-four months upon her request. The starting date of the leave is either the end of the post-childbirth maternity leave period or, if utilized, the leave period granted according to Article 104/F of Law No. 657. The starting date of the unpaid leave to be granted to the spouse of a female employee who has given birth is the date of childbirth.

For the spouse of a female employee who has given birth, unpaid leave of up to twenty-four months can be granted upon their request.

In the case of multiple pregnancies, two weeks are added to the eight-week maternity leave period before childbirth. However, if a female civil servant provides medical evidence with a doctor's report that her health is suitable for work up to three weeks before the expected due date, she may choose to work until the last three weeks before childbirth. In this case, the actual working periods before childbirth, based on this medical report, are added to the maternity leave period after childbirth. If the birth occurs earlier than expected, the unused portion of the maternity leave before childbirth is added to the maternity leave period after childbirth. In the event of the mother's death during childbirth or after childbirth while on maternity leave, upon the request of the father, a leave of absence equal to the duration provided for the mother is granted.

For female civil servants who have given birth, the right to unpaid leave of up to twelve months upon request has been extended to twenty-four months, and male civil servants whose wives have given birth are also granted the right to unpaid leave of up to twenty-four months upon request.

The start date of the unpaid leave to be granted to the female civil servant after giving birth is determined as the end date of the postpartum maternity leave (minimum 8 weeks, maximum 13 weeks). Female civil servants are granted breastfeeding leave to breastfeed their child for three hours a day during the first six months following the end of the postpartum maternity leave, and one and a half hours a day during the second six months. a) Professors receive the first grade from the beginning of the month following the date of their appointment to the professorship.

b) Associate Professors receive the third grade from the beginning of the month following the date of their appointment to the associate professorship.

c) Assistant Professors receive the fifth grade from the beginning of the month following the date of their appointment to the assistant professorship.
